The wedding planning process began almost immediately after our engagement over the Christmas holidays. We wanted to be married within the year so the search was on to find and book some key vendors. We finally chose our wedding date based on who and what was available. We had less than 8 months, but being a new bride-to-be, I was eager and excited. It was a good thing too. Steve was living in the USA so I had to take care of most of the planning on my own. However, within a couple of months of breathing and dreaming all things wedding, I began to lose steam. As I looked over my to-do list, I began to feel overwhelmed. That’s when a friend of mine told me about Erica.

From my very first meeting with Erica, I knew I would be in good hands. Even though there were many things still to do, she provided me with the reassurance I needed time and time again. Erica offered much-needed advice and plenty of ideas while leaving final decisions in our hands. She would come well-prepared to our meetings and always help in areas that we were struggling. Her relationships and experience with vendors made us feel comfortable with any negotiations. And she offers all of this along with a friendly, positive attitude. Our friends and family even made a point of telling us how much they enjoyed interacting with her.

We highly recommend Erica because ultimately we are certain that our wedding was a success because of her involvement. Our 18-hour wedding day was completed without a single hiccup, which means that all of our memories are full of joy.

We just wanted to take a few moments to say thank you to Erica who of course helped to plan our wedding this year. She received glowing recommendations from one of our friends so we thought we would take our chances and hire her without even looking for anyone else. It was not a mistake. Every time we met Erica she reflected openness while at the same time providing valuable feedback even when she did not agree with our approach. This made us feel confident that she was not just some “sales” person interested in agreeing with you at all costs. I cannot tell you how important it is to be able to strike that balance between being open to our vision while interjecting when necessary. She was always diplomatic and is obviously very use to dealing with all kinds of personalities. Even my husband who frankly, was not initially thrilled with the idea of a Wedding Planner had to acquiesce to the fact that I was right on this one. He couldn’t stop saying how thankful he was that she was there and how we never could have made it without her assistance. At the end of day, we found a person we both genuinely liked who matched her affability with great skill.

I am the type of person with lots of ideas, but turning those ideas into a reality can be overwhelming on my own.  That’s why I always knew that I wanted a professional wedding planner to help make my dreams come true. When I first met Erica I knew she would be the perfect fit.  In the 11 months of planning Erica was extremely accommodating and flexible, and if I ever had a question I could just email or text her and she would reply with an answer in no time at all.  She also had great recommendations and suggestions for vendors and design options. The real life-saver was her handy spreadsheet that organized all my ideas with timelines and budgets so it was easy to keep track of everything.  Suffice to say, our wedding day was perfect and everything turned out better than we could have imagined. We received so many compliments from our guests on how the day was so wonderfully laid out.  My husband and I were able to enjoy every second of our wedding day without any worry of something going wrong because we knew we were in great hands.  This we owe completely to Erica and her supreme organization and attention to detail.
